HANDCARTS and HEADACHES 9-17-08

This week I have a lot of things to do. I have a fireside on Sunday that is about this handcart trek our stake is going to do. I am the stake "costume specialist". So at this fireside I have to have a display table of the costumes for the trek. That means that I have to make some clothes this week for the display. I bought some patterns last night so I can make a sunbonnet. I have to make an apron, I already have a skirt in my halloween costume box. I need to make a frontiersman shirt for one of the trek leaders. I need to make packets with patterns to pass out at the fireside. And I really an NOT IN THE MOOD. I like to sew when it is my own idea and my own project. But this is NOT my idea of a good time. However, I want to have the best display and the best packets EVER!! So naturally I am stressed. I have a "Young Women" activity tonight so there's another night I can't work on costumes. That leaves Thursday, Friday, and ALL DAY Saturday. There goes my weekend. Wow, this really turned into a negative blog. Hmm, to leave on a happy note, Hmm, Hmmm HHMMM. Still thinking. Guess I'll have to get back to you on that. OK, ok, at least I know how to sew. And I am so thankful for my Mom who taught me how. She did a good job.
