HE'S HOME!!!!!!!!!!!! 8-5-08

I came home from work last night and was just going to take a few minutes to change and then head out to the hospital when the phone rang. It was Derril telling me that they were releasing him from the hospital and not to come. Such a relief. It is hard being at the hospital and still having to get things done for people at home. Normally things could wait but because of my procrastination disability, I had some deadlines coming up. So now big D is home. Still don't know what the problem is, still swollen as big as a grapefruit. But home non the less. His fever is gone, he still doesn't feel well. But I am sure he is sleeping better. I'm sure I could cure him if he would let me. (RAW) But he stopped at TACO BELL on the way home from the hospital. Which might be better than Jack in the Box or McDonalds, his usual hang out. Did I ever tell you the time I tried before to get him to eat healthy. He had been on my assigned diet for about a week but still got sick. I just didn't get it, he should have gotten healthier not sick. I was going over the diet with him expressing my concern that it wasn't working. I had him on a dairy free diet (my Google studies showed that dairy is not good for UTI's). He finally confessed that sometimes he would go through a McD drive-through for an ice cream cone. I explained that I didn't think one ice cream cone would mess things up. I could tell by the look on his face that we were dealing with more than one cone. I asked how often he was getting a cone. TRUTH BE TOLD. He would go through the McD a couple of times a DAY. So now you see what I am dealing with. This man is a junk food junkie. Is it any wonder he gets sick.
