SANCTIONED KILLS and DEPENDS 9-11-08

I have been chastised for not blogging more. Problem being, everything is so mundane around here that I don't think there is anything to blog about. So I will have to dig deep to come up with anything at all. Yesterday Clayton sold his motorcycle and went to look at another one. Wanted something a little bigger and has his eye on a crotch rocket. He would have bought it last night except the guy who is selling it is having trouble with the title. It is in his and his father's name but the father is now deceased (motorcycle accident). He told Clay that as soon as he gets the title work done he will call Clayton to come and pick it up. My life is same ol same ol. Go to work, come home, go to work, come home. I haven't even really had anything interesting happen at work lately. I did pick up a woman named Erna. I told her, that was my daughter's name. She said in a heavy accent "I have never heard that name here in the states " she was from France. I am subbing a route this week that was a little frustrating. Two of the addresses were wrong on my paperwork. One wasn't bad, it was 2929 on my paper work but the correct address turned out to be 2931 and the lady was standing outside waiting for me. So that was an easy fix. The other one was 2609 N. 36th Street. There was a huge apartment complex that was 2601, and then the next building was a Home Depot. I called dispatch (which never gave me the correct number) they just said, "oh, you need to drop down to Yale and go to 38th Street, pick her up there". Sure enough, there she was waiting for me. Now why couldn't they have put THAT on the paperwork. Before I even called dispatch though, I had 3 women on the bus telling me, "go up to the light", "no, you just pasted it", "turn left, no the other left", "I think she lives there", "no maybe she live here". I was also on a different bus that day and every time I used the lift (4 times) it quit working a third of the way up and I would have to jack it up by hand (like jacking up a car to change the tire). It would have been funny if I hadn't been on a time schedule. I wish Heidi would blog. She can tell the most interesting stories about her work, like sanctioned kills, shankings, escaped murderers (oh, that one was in her neighborhood). Oooohhhh life in a small town. But I just haven't convinced her to blog yet. Maybe if we ALL put on the pressure. I did talk to her on the phone Saturday and she was telling me all this prison stuff. Sure is a lot more interesting than my work stories of Depends and diarrhea (that only happened once).
