SHOCKING 7-22-08

I guess word has gotten around about Ibis' shocking experience. At least I have gotten a few phone calls about it. So to keep everyone updated here goes. On Thursday of last week, Kyle and Ibis dog (boxer puppy) had chewed the cord to the washing machine. Ibis didn't know this until she went out and got the shock of her life (pun intended). In Mexico they use 220 and obviously she didn't get the full 220 or she would be dead. Non the less she got enough of it to blister her hand. Because she is pregnant there was some concern about the safety of the baby (Little Soren, or Cicely). So the doctor wanted her to come in for a check up. Kyle mistakenly brought the house keys home with him on Tuesday so Ibis was literally locked in the house. They have a front patio but it is enclosed with an iron gate which Kyle had locked when he left at 3am on Tuesday to come to Phoenix to work (his typical work schedule). So Ibis could not get out of the house to go to the doctor. Kyle was in a panic and felt the need to go down. Some members from the ward did come and give her a blessing. They cut the lock off. Now don't you honestly think that Kyle will now be known in his ward as the greengo who locks up his wife. All is well though and Ibis and the baby are fine.
